Welcome... Our InnerSelf welcomes your inner self.
This week we focus on our physical health... though of course, since everything is connected our physical health is related to our mental, emotional and spiritual health. Our connection to plants is also an integral part of our well-being. One of our articles introduces us to "Sharing the Breath of Life with Plants". And because we are what we eat (as well as what we breathe), "Food is the Best Medicine Leading to Longevity and Health" gives some additional pointers.
It's not just about what we put inside our bodies, but also about what is on the outside of our body as explained in "The Importance of Natural Light and The Harmful Potential of Artificial Light". In addition, a huge contributor to your health is learning "How To Control Stress Before It Controls You".
At times, we may feel that all these requirements for health are just too complicated and "how's a person supposed to know what to do?" The good news is that "The Qi Knows Where To Go And What To Do, We Just Need To Listen". Our body has its own wisdom and knows what is best for itself and thus for you. We can learn to get out of the way and let the cells of our body heal themselves with the love and nurturing we provide.
Apart from our featured articles, we have numerous additional articles on a wide variety of topics to bring you information, insights, and in-joyment. Please scroll down below to discover them all.
May our articles this week help you create health, happiness, and well-being for yourself and for all.

The Importance of Natural Light and The Harmful Potential of Artificial Light
Written by Anadi Martel
For eons, human beings have lived in harmony with the light of the sun. But only in the last hundred years or so, since its introduction, have we become rather well adapted to artificial lighting. The advent of artificial lighting liberated us from our dependence on daylight for the accomplishment of most activities, and in so doing it has fundamentally transformed human life.
