InnerSelf NewsletterApril 3rd, 2016 |
Welcome... Our InnerSelf welcomes your Inner Self. This week we reflect on our actions, our behavior. Author Cara Bradley in Awake, Fully Alive and On Purpose shares: "What you do every day matters. Your routines and habits set you in motion or bring you to a halt. They help you feel great or make you feel lousy. What you do on a daily basis has a cumulative effect on your life and has carried you to this very moment." Thus this week we examine our behavior and its consequences. Sarah Varcas provides her overview of the coming month and describes us all as Spiritual Warriors with Blankets to Darn reminding us that there are things we need to do, to repair, to process, due to previous actions, or perhaps lack of action. Some of those things are in the "outside world" but many, if not most, are in our own selves and our own way of being. And while we are reflecting on our actions, the article "I Multitask, but I Still Can’t Finish Everything!" sheds light on why we may not be making the progress we have envisioned for ourselves. Regular contributor Alan Cohen provides guidelines in "Life 101: How to Produce a Classic Scene", as he reminds us that "greatness is built - not overnight or in a flash, but through the steady development of skill, consciousness, and heart." And Barry Vissell intimately opens his heart to us with his article, To Really Trust a Woman... And perhaps we will discover that trusting others helps us learn to trust ourselves. Wishing you enjoyable insightful reading, and of course a wonder-full, joy-full, and loving week. Marie T. Russell Friendly Reminders: * Please use this Amazon link if you shop at Amazon.
