This is Marie T. Russell, co-publisher of InnerSelf.com, wishing you a day of pacifying your fears (today and every day)

Comment from Marie:
Fear. Definitely a four-letter word. It causes grief, stress, sorrow, more stress, and stops love, harmony, and smooth communnication from taking place.

Fear is a wall that we put up between us and the world, between us and others, and possibly even us and ourselves. We fear that we aren't strong enough, smart enough, good enough, whatever... and then that closes the door to magic taking place in our life. On the other hand, when we choose to experience peace, we become an open door for good to come to us. And if we radiate good and love, then those are the things we will attract. And, if we radiate fear, then guess what we attract? Fear and things to fear. Sigh.

So let's change our focus and pacify our fear. I've assigned a character to my fear... a big cartoon-type tiger... and I've given him a lounge chair to relax on and a pair of rose-colored sunglasses so he can learn to see life differently. I have told "him" that he still needs to alert me to real dangers, but to relax and let the small stuff go by. Works for me! And I highly recommend it.

In the article which is the source of today's Daily Inspiration, Jude Bijou shares 5 doable and easy ways to experience more peace. Try them... and start experiencing more peace in your life... in your mind, in your emotions, and in your heart. ...with Love, Peace, and Gratitude, Marie (MT) Russell

When I pacify my fear, peace naturally arises.

Today's inspiration was written by Jude Bijou:

Peace is one of human's six emotions. It's the opposite of fear.

When we're experiencing peace, we're relaxed, content, and our mind is still.

It’s often thought that we need to meditate in order to feel peace, but it's not true. If we pacify our fear, peace will naturally arise.
