Choosing a dream is not enough. In the universe of light and darkness, of yin and yang, you will be asked to choose again, and again, and again. The truth is that you choose in every waking moment, and strangely enough, even when not awake. For much of humanity the choices are unconscious. And they don’t even know it.
You need to be able to stay focused on your dream, and to act. You need to distinguish between the voice of Spirit and the pull of ego. You need to know what actions are both powerful and empowering. You need to listen to your guidance, to the universe, and you need to be able to harness the synchronicities that come your way. You must know when to push and when to relax and let go.
And you must be able to tell the difference between legitimate and unnecessary suffering. Following your bliss is not always so blissful. Sometimes life can be tough, and you just have to ride it out. Meanwhile the ego and dark energy will try to pull you toward false dreams. They will lead you toward separation and alienation, away from Spirit. You need to be able to stay with your purpose.
Tapping Into Intuitive Intelligence
I have discovered that life becomes much less of a struggle when you listen to the heart, when you tap in to your intuitive intelligence. You guess less, and know more. The entire process is quintessentially spiritual.
To do this yourself, take note of your intuitions, dreams, and visions. Actively seek guidance, and do what you are being prompted to do. Sometimes there are multiple considerations; then you have to open your heart to Spirit and choose as wisely as you can. At other times the choice is clear, and the guidance will be definitive.
Some choices will lead you toward your bliss, others away from it. Certain decisions may require a lot of courage, such as ending a relationship, changing jobs, or moving to another location. If the ego resists, denial can come into play.
Reading Energy
Every action that you conceive of taking has a degree of alignment (or nonalignment) with your bliss, and with your spirit. This is why it is possible to sense and read the energy behind an intended action. The same is true for any decision you take in your life.
Let’s say you see a poster of Thailand in the window of a travel agent, and a sudden tingling excitement fills you. It suddenly strikes you that your Internet-based business could operate perfectly from Thailand, where living and labor costs are cheaper.
Each time you walk past the poster on the way to work it catches your eye, and you feel that excitement! A desire rises within you to travel to the Land of Smiles. Should you fork over the several thousand bucks for the trip and risk a great deal, or stay put?
Using Integrated Intelligence Tools for Decision Making
The INI (Integrated Intelligence) tools allow you to sense and measure whether a given choice or action resonates with your soul journey.
You can use meditative reflection, simply by relaxing deeply and allowing yourself to enter a Light Trance state, putting out the question to the universe.
You can then breathe deeply and, using the Feeling Sense, allow yourself to merge with your future self in the new setting or position or relationship.
What does it feel like? Does it feel right, wrong, or something in between?
Then, write down what you saw and felt in your Intuitive Diary. That way, in the hours and days that follow, you can review what Spirit has told you. It is all too easy to quickly forget what we see in moments of intuitive connection. The ego often cuts in when we get back to living and working in the day-to-day world, and then we go into doubt and fear.
How To Know When To Take Action
Here is the key. If the feeling and the reading are strong, take positive action — immediately. If they are weak, let go of the desire. When the feeling is uncertain it usually means there is no definite energy about your intention or wish. In such circumstances, wait. You will usually find the desire will drop off if there is no genuine excitement. Some synchronicity may also follow in the days ahead, which will assist you in the decision.
When you are seeking guidance, the way you frame the question is crucial. The feedback that you get from your higher self or spirit guides will differ according to the precise query. “What is the energy on asking this person out on a date?” is not the same question as “What is the energy on having a sexual relationship with this person?”
There may be strong energy on asking the person out, simply because you might become good friends, despite the fact the person is already married. There may be energy on dating the person, but not on making the relationship intimate. Therefore, you can try changing the question to see what happens.
