Our InnerSelf welcomes your inner self
Life is a journey... sometimes straightforward, and at other times, with detours, stop signs, yield signs. And though we sometimes think there are short-cuts, they are simply part of the journey. We experience stress, joy, sadness, success, love, loss, etc. etc. It's a huge repertoire that we get to taste and feel, and then decide whether we desire more of it or not.
And we meet people along the way who, in one way or another are our teachers... either by example, or by reflecting our own strengths and weaknesses, or by showing us another possible way to be and to live.
It's all a long-lasting series in which we are actor, writer, producer, and also, hopefully spectator -- in the sense that we get to see the whole picture and make choices and changes based on our observations.
Let's remember that everyone else is also starring in, and writing, their own movie. We can watch the show and see what our role is in their movie. We can be the protagonist or the antagonist, or a friend, a helper, a hindrance... And we get to choose... Basically Love or not, Joy or not, Playful or not, Acceptance or not, Anger or not, Fear or not, Resentment or not, etc...
It's all a choice, our choice. And we can choose one and then the opposite. There are no mistakes. Simply experiences that let us then decide which one feels better and brings us more Joy and Love. Tag, you're it!
